About the ESD Workstation Kit
This kit brings together the five items needed to set up and earth a single static-safe bench. Catalogued as m0000007 esd workstation kit hs, it is built around a blue ESD bench mat measuring 600 x 1200 mm and fitted with two 10 mm press studs — one for the operator’s wrist strap and one for the bench earth. Earthing is provided by a bonding plug with a UK mains plug body, two shrouded banana sockets and a single 10 mm stud, which takes both the mat and the operator to protective earth through a defined, repeatable path rather than an improvised connection to a bench frame. The operator side is covered by an anti-allergic fabric wristband in blue with a 10 mm stud and a 1.8 m cord, together with a 2.4 m blue polyurethane coil cord terminated 10 mm stud to banana. A self-adhesive yellow EPA sign, 300 x 150 mm and in English, marks the boundary of the protected area.
