M8711 miracle gloss No. 87 high-temperature release wax
Miracle Gloss No. 87 is a paste-form mould release wax formulated for elevated-temperature moulding. The manufacturer describes it as a blend of carnauba, synthetic waxes and thermo resins, chosen so that the release film stays intact through repeated pulls rather than breaking down at the first demould. The stated maximum moulding temperature is 204 °C (400 °F). It is applied to a clean, prepared mould surface, allowed to haze and then buffed; the manufacturer’s own guidance is to remove excess with one side of the cloth and buff the residue with the other. The product is used to release GRP, FRP and other composite laminates. Item code M8711 covers the 11 oz (311 g) container, supplied twelve to a case.
