SFTW-203 is a very flexible, heat-shrinkable polyolefin with a 3:1 shrink ratio, meaning it recovers to roughly a third of its as-supplied internal diameter. That high recovery makes it the practical choice for end terminations where a connector body is larger than the cable behind it, and for repair work where the tubing has to slide over a connector before being shrunk down. The material is mechanically tough, chemically resistant and readily surface printed. It is engineered for a low shrink temperature of 100 °C so it recovers quickly with minimal heat exposure to temperature-sensitive substrates, and is rated for continuous operation from -55 °C to 135 °C, withstanding 300 °C for brief periods.

Typical applications
The 1/8 in size recovers to a 1.0 mm internal diameter, which places it at the fine end of the range — individual conductors, small wire breakouts, component leads and thin sleeve marking rather than full bundles. The 3:1 ratio still lets it pass over a small terminal or joint before recovering tightly onto the wire behind it. Spooled supply suits benches doing repetitive short cuts, and the printable surface allows circuit identification to be applied to the sleeve.
