Before you install the battery terminal, it is important that you first carefully polish the battery poles until corrosion-free poles appear. After that you apply acid-free Vaseline to the poles to prevent corrosion in the future and only after that you mount the battery terminals with the – or + sign pointing upwards.

The plus (+) pole is always a fraction larger than the minus (-) pole, they are both conical in shape, all this to prevent an incorrect connection. Do not tighten them excessively, warping or breaking them is the most common reason that replacement is necessary.

To fasten you only need key 13, the bolt is square on one side to prevent rotating.
