About the SHOWA Atlas 380 Foamed Nitrile Palm
The SHOWA 380 is a general-purpose handling glove built on a seamless knit liner with a foamed nitrile palm coating and an embossed waffle-pattern finish. The coating is oil resistant, which is what allows the glove to keep grip on wet and oily parts as well as dry ones, and nitrile is used in place of natural rubber latex to reduce the risk of latex allergy. The back of the hand is left uncoated so air can pass through the knit and reduce perspiration during long wear. A knitted wrist cuff with elastication closes the glove at the wrist and keeps swarf and debris out. The liner is shaped to follow the natural curvature of the hand and has no internal seams in contact with the skin. Under EN 388 the glove is rated 3 for abrasion, 1 for cut, 2 for tear and 1 for puncture. This listing is the medium size, catalogued by SHOWA as 380M-07.
