About the 811-1726 Cable Tie Mount 19.5
The 811-1726 Tie Mount cable management base is a square cable-tie mounting block measuring 19.5 mm by 19.5 mm, moulded in black polyamide 6.6 (PA66). A tie mount is fixed to a panel, bulkhead or chassis and presents a slotted platform through which a cable tie is threaded, so the bundle is held at a defined point instead of hanging on its own harness. Anchoring a loom at intervals in this way controls where it runs, keeps it clear of edges and moving parts, and stops the weight of the cable being carried by its terminations. PA66 is a common material for this class of part because it holds its moulded form and resists the local pressure of a tightened tie.
