About the GEPRC ELRS DUAL 2.4G Receiver
The GEPRC ELRS DUAL antenna receiver is a 2.4 GHz radio-control receiver running the ExpressLRS (ELRS) link and fitted with two antennas rather than one. ExpressLRS is an open-source control-link protocol used between a transmitter module in the operator’s handset and a receiver on the aircraft; both ends must run compatible ExpressLRS versions and be bound to one another before use, which is the usual first stumbling block during commissioning. The dual-antenna arrangement is what the DUAL in the designation refers to: with two antennas the receiver has two independent paths to the transmitter, so a null in the pattern or an obstruction affecting one antenna does not necessarily break the link. In practice the two antennas are mounted at an angle to each other and away from structure so their coverage overlaps as little as possible. The receiver connects to the flight controller over a serial link, passing control channels out and telemetry back where configured.

Typical applications
Dual-antenna 2.4 GHz receivers are specified where control-link reliability outweighs minimum installed mass — larger airframes, longer-range operations, and any flight profile that repeatedly puts the airframe’s own structure between the aircraft and the operator. They are also the usual choice on airframes built largely from carbon fibre, which attenuates 2.4 GHz effectively and makes single-antenna installations sensitive to mounting position. Installation is alongside the flight controller with the two antennas routed apart and secured clear of power wiring.
