About the GEPRC M20x250mm Battery Strap
The GEPRC M20x250mm Strap battery retainer is a battery strap measuring 20 mm wide by 250 mm long, as the designation states directly. A battery strap is the mechanical restraint that holds a pack against the top or bottom plate of a multirotor or model airframe, standing in for a mechanical clamp so that packs can be exchanged in seconds between flights. Width and length are the two dimensions that decide whether a strap fits: the 20 mm width sets how much of the pack face the strap bears against — and how wide a slot it needs where it passes through the frame plate — while the 250 mm length sets the largest pack girth it can encircle and still fasten. A 250 mm strap passes around the combined depth and width of the mid-size packs commonly flown on 5-inch and larger airframes. Straps are consumables and are replaced once the fastening no longer grips reliably.

Typical applications
Straps of this size retain propulsion packs on multirotor frames where the pack sits exposed on a plate and is changed after every flight. The 250 mm length suits mid-size packs; shorter straps are used on micro airframes and longer ones on large-capacity packs, so the length is matched to the pack rather than to the airframe. Operators generally hold spares, because the strap is among the items most likely to fail in the field and it grounds the aircraft when it does.
