About the 1B73EPA Technical Component
HumiSeal 1B73EPA is a fast-drying, single-component acrylic conformal coating supplied here in a 365 ml aerosol can for direct spray application onto printed-circuit assemblies. The coating air-dries to a hard, durable yet flexible clear film: it is dry to the touch in around 30 minutes, with full room-temperature cure in 24 hours. It contains a UV tracer so coverage can be inspected under black light, and the cured film can be soldered through for component replacement or repair without leaving residue. The aerosol version maintains the qualifications of the bulk 1B73 formulations, including MIL-I-46058C and IPC-CC-830, and uses a non-ozone-depleting propellant. When removal is required, the coating strips with HumiSeal Stripper 1080/1080A. Acrylic conformal coatings of this class protect electronic assemblies against humidity, contamination and thermal-shock stress while remaining the easiest coating chemistry to rework.
