About the RJFRB71 Circular Connector
The RJF RB 71 is part of the Amphenol RJField (RJF) range, which packages a standard commercial RJ45 interface inside a sealed circular shell so that Ethernet can be run through harsh-environment bulkheads. This variant is a composite jam-nut receptacle configured as an in-line adapter with female RJ45 terminations on both sides, using reverse bayonet coupling for quick mating. Amphenol rates the RJField system to IP67 and states that it supports Ethernet Class D / Cat 5e and Class E / Cat 6 links, covering 10BaseT, 100BaseTX and 1000BaseT networks. The patented RJStop feature lets a standard RJ45 cordset be used inside a protective composite plug, so the commercial cable assembly is shielded from shock, dust and fluid ingress while retaining ordinary RJ45 interoperability at the equipment end.
