About the Loctite 567 Thread Sealant 50 ml
Loctite 567 Thread industrial adhesive and sealant is supplied here in a 50 ml pack. A thread sealant is applied to the engaged threads of a metal fitting so that, once the joint is made up, the product fills the helical leak path between the male and female threads and prevents liquid or gas escaping past them — the function that PTFE tape and older jointing compounds perform mechanically. Because the sealant cures in the joint rather than sitting as a wrapped film, it also resists the loosening that vibration and thermal cycling cause in tapered pipe connections. Loctite is Henkel’s adhesives and sealants brand and 567 is the product designation within it. Typical applications
