The GHR-08V-S is an 8-position receptacle (socket) housing from the JST GH series of wire-to-board connectors. The GH series is a 1.25 mm pitch, single-row crimp-style system designed for compact electronic equipment, combining low insertion force with a positive locking mechanism that secures both the mated housings and the crimped contacts; correct mating is confirmed by a click. The housing is cable-mount and accepts GH-series crimp socket contacts, which are ordered separately and terminated to discrete wire. Per the manufacturer’s series data, GH connectors are rated 1 A, with insulation resistance of 100 MΩ minimum and a withstanding voltage of 500 V AC for one minute.
