About the XT90-M Connector, 45A Continuous, 90A Max
The XT90-M is the male half of the AMASS XT90 power connector, a polarised two-pole DC connector widely used for battery and power connections on UAVs, RC platforms and battery-powered equipment. Published supplier data for the XT90 family lists a 45 A continuous current rating with a 90 A maximum, a 500 V DC rated voltage, gold-plated contacts and a flame-retardant nylon housing rated UL94 V-0, with a working temperature range of −20 °C to +120 °C. Contact-resistance and mating-cycle figures are published differently for the individual XT90 variants, so those values should be confirmed against the exact variant offered rather than taken from the family in general. The shaped housing prevents reverse-polarity connection, and the bullet contacts are soldered to the cable.
