About the iKey SLK-880-FSR Backlit Military Keyboard

The iKey SLK-880-FSR is a compact rugged keyboard intended for fielded and vehicle-mounted computing. It uses an 88-key layout in a conductive plastic case and connects over USB. iKey states that the unit exceeds NEMA 4X requirements and is fully submersible to IP68, that drop testing has been completed at 2.0 m onto concrete, and that the cable strain relief exceeds a 25 lb pull. The keyboard is designed to meet MIL-STD-461G for electromagnetic interference. Backlighting is adjustable green, with a night-vision (NVIS) compatible configuration available. In place of a separate mouse, an Interlink Electronics force sensing resistor (FSR) pointing device is integrated into the keyboard. Key switches are industrial silicone rubber rated at more than 10 million cycles, with 1.4 mm (0.055 in) travel and a 6.35 oz actuation force.
