About the D-1459 Terminal Block Module, 2×6 Position
The D-1459 terminal block distribution module is arranged as two banks of six positions and is rated at 30 A and 48 V. A distribution module of this type takes one or more incoming feeds and splits them across a row of screw or clamp terminals so that several loads can be fed, and later isolated or re-landed, from a single tidy point. The 2 x 6 layout gives twelve terminal positions in total, typically used as a paired positive and negative (or line and return) bank so that each outgoing circuit lands both of its conductors on the same block. The 48 V rating places it in the low-voltage DC distribution band used by telecoms, battery and control systems, while the 30 A figure sets the ceiling for the block as a whole.
