The Vishay global part number resolves field by field: CRCW0805 identifies the D12/CRCW0805 e3 standard thick film chip resistor, 110K encodes the resistance using the R/K/M decimal convention (110 kΩ), F sets the resistance tolerance at ±1%, K sets the temperature coefficient of resistance at ±100 ppm/K, and EA is the lead-free packaging code for a 5,000-piece 180 mm (7-inch) reel. Typical applications

High-value resistors of this order are used where current draw has to stay low: upper legs of high-impedance voltage dividers, feedback networks around regulators and references, bleed and pull-down paths, and RC timing networks where a long time constant is wanted from a modest capacitor. At 110 kΩ the dissipation in most signal-level circuits is a small fraction of the 0.125 W rating, so the practical limits are the ±1% tolerance and the ±100 ppm/K drift rather than power.
