About the ISDT Dual LiPo Battery Balance Charger
This ISDT unit is a dual-channel battery balance charger and discharger. Two independent output channels each handle packs from 1S to 8S at up to 20 A, so two batteries can be processed at the same time rather than in sequence. Input is either mains AC, with 400 W available, or an external DC supply, which raises the ceiling to 600 W per channel — the usual arrangement where a generator, vehicle supply or bench PSU is available and the higher figure is needed. Balance charging means the charger monitors and equalises individual cell voltages within the pack instead of treating it as a single block, which is what keeps a multi-cell lithium pack within its per-cell limits. The discharge function supports storage-level and capacity-check cycles.
