3M’s FP-301 designates a thin-wall polyolefin heat-shrink tubing family, with the fraction giving the supplied diameter in inches and CLEAR the unpigmented finish. The transparent version is specified where a splice, marker or conductor colour has to stay visible after the tubing is recovered.
