About the IOT-FCB-EV Interface Board for FCB-EV7520A
The IOT-FCB-EV analog interface board is a carrier and breakout board for the Sony FCB-EV7520A block camera module. Block cameras are supplied as bare optical and sensor assemblies whose power, video and control lines terminate on a fine-pitch board-to-board connector; an interface board of this type mates with that connector and re-presents the camera on connectors that can be wired into a housing, gimbal or vehicle harness. The host camera is a Full HD unit built around a 1/2.8-type Exmor R CMOS sensor with a 30x optical zoom lens, delivering 1920 × 1080 video and accepting Sony’s VISCA serial command protocol for zoom, focus, exposure and camera-configuration control. Because the interface board defines the connector set and output format actually available to the integrator, confirm the exact video output, control interface and supply voltage of this variant against its own documentation before design-in.
