About the DPSXL12 Dust-Off Gas Duster, 10 oz
The DPSXL12 compressed gas duster is part of the Falcon Safety Products Dust-Off range of disposable cleaning dusters. It delivers a controlled stream of gas through a trigger valve to lift dust, lint and loose debris from surfaces and out of recesses that cannot be reached with a cloth or brush, without wiping contact and without leaving a residue. The propellant is difluoroethane (HFC-152a). A narrow extension straw is supplied so the stream can be directed into connectors, vents, keyboards and other confined features. In common with the Dust-Off disposable line, the formulation includes a bitterant, added to discourage deliberate inhalation. The can is non-refillable and is discarded once empty. As with any compressed gas duster, the can should be kept upright in use and the manufacturer’s safety data sheet consulted for handling, storage and disposal.

Typical applications
Gas dusters are standard consumables on electronics assembly, test and repair benches, where they clear swarf, solder crumbs and dust from boards, connectors and enclosures before inspection or before a cover is refitted. They are also used on optical assemblies, printers and keyboards, and in IT and comms rooms for clearing fans, filters and card-edge slots. The extension straw makes them useful for confined areas on instruments and rack equipment that cannot be dismantled for cleaning.
