The 880811-2 straight connector boot is a TE Connectivity accessory for the AMP SUPERSEAL 1.5 mm connector series. It is a straight cable-support cover for a three-position male housing, listed in black and specified in nylon 6/6. The boot fits over the rear of the assembled housing and closes the area where the wires leave the connector, supporting the cable bundle and transferring bending and pull loads away from the individual crimped contacts and their wire seals. The three-way SUPERSEAL 1.5 interface it serves is listed by TE with a nominal current rating of 14 A, and the sealed connector system is rated to IP67 when correctly assembled with its seals.
