The 7100262488 EPX mixer nozzle is the 3M Scotch-Weld EPX square green static mixing nozzle, listed for 1:1 and 2:1 Duo-Pak cartridges of 48.5 ml and 50 ml. It is a disposable static mixer: the two adhesive streams leaving the cartridge are divided and recombined repeatedly by fixed internal elements as they travel down the nozzle, so resin and hardener are blended at the correct ratio with no moving parts and no manual stirring. The tapered tip can be cut back to set the bead size for the joint being made. Because the nozzle seals the cartridge outlet once dispensing stops, a used nozzle can be left in place to store the remaining adhesive and replaced with a fresh one when work resumes, which reduces waste from part-used cartridges. Mixing nozzles are matched to cartridge ratio and volume, so this green square type is used only with the 1:1 and 2:1 48.5 ml and 50 ml cartridges it is listed for.
