The Hex Bushing Adaptor 400B113N010038 is a threaded reducing fitting that steps a 1 in NPT female port down to accept a 3/8 in NPT male connection: its external thread is 1 in male NPT and its internal thread is 3/8 in female NPT. The body is 304 stainless steel, giving good corrosion, impact and temperature resistance relative to carbon-steel or brass equivalents, and the hexagonal outer form allows the bushing to be tightened with a standard wrench.
