About the Mitutoyo 500-754 Caliper
The Mitutoyo 500-754 is a coolant-proof digital caliper from the ABSOLUTE Digimatic Series 500. It measures 0–300 mm (0–12 in) with a resolution of 0.01 mm (0.0005 in), an accuracy of ±0.03 mm and repeatability of 0.01 mm. The instrument carries an IP67 protection rating, sealing it against dust and temporary immersion so it can be used around cutting coolant and washdown areas. Mitutoyo’s ABSOLUTE encoder retains the origin point permanently: the display shows the true slider position the moment the caliper is switched on, with no re-zeroing after power-off and no overspeed errors. The jaw depth is 64 mm, the depth bar is square-section, the display switches between metric and inch, and battery life is approximately five years. The base code covers variants with and without SPC data output.
