3M’s FP-301 range is flexible polyolefin tubing supplied at a 2:1 shrink ratio, so the sleeve recovers to roughly half its supplied diameter over the joint beneath it. This variant is the 12.70 mm (1/2 in) size in yellow, cut to 1.22 m (4 ft); colour-coded polyolefin sleeving of this kind is used to insulate, strain-relieve and identify conductors in wiring harnesses.
