Loctite Frekote 770-NC Release Agent 5Lt is Henkel’s clear, one-part, solvent-based, moisture-curing semi-permanent mould release agent for advanced composites and FRP polyester moulding. Henkel positions 770-NC as the low-odour, fast-evaporating development of Frekote 700-NC: it wipes or sprays onto the prepared mould surface, cures at room temperature and forms a chemically bonded release film that supports multiple releases per application rather than re-coating every cycle. The product releases epoxy thermoset and prepreg systems, polyester resins and thermoplastic compounds, and Henkel highlights its suitability for harder-to-release processes such as filament winding and non-gel-coated polyester and fibreglass moulding.
