About the Sealed Air 1001SR-02 Instapak Foam System
Sealed Air’s Instapak 900 series produces foam-in-place cushioning by dispensing two liquid components that react and expand inside a bag or directly into a carton, forming a cushion moulded around the packed item. This item is a Model 901 top-assembly system from that series. The 901 is specified for medium to high volume packing where larger foam pours are needed, with a foam output rate of approximately 5 to 7.5 lb per minute. Dispensing is timed: the control provides a series of ten preset dispense times so a repeatable quantity of foam is delivered for a given pack. The dispenser is self-cleaning, which reduces routine maintenance, and the system is all-electric, so installation needs a bench or table position and a power supply.
