About the NP-05 Plastic Nippers 123 mm ESD
The NP-05 ESD plastic nippers are Engineer’s 123 mm micro nipper, built with a carbon steel body and TPR grips whose surface resistance is specified at 1 x 10⁶ to 10⁷ ohms, placing them in the dissipative band used for electrostatic protected areas. The tool weighs 65 g and has a handle width of 52 mm, with a slender tapered head that lets it reach into recessed pockets and around adjacent components. A side stopper limits how far the jaws close, which protects the cutting edges from meeting on hard material, and a coiled return spring reopens the jaws between cuts for repetitive trimming. Engineer states cutting capacities of 2 mm diameter solid copper wire, 3.5 mm² stranded copper wire and 1.6 mm diameter brass wire. Manufactured in Japan; classified under HS heading 82032000.

Typical applications
