About the EA 9394 AERO Epoxy Paste Adhesive, 200
The EA 9394 epoxy paste adhesive is a two-part structural paste from Henkel, long known in aerospace work under its former name Hysol EA 9394. Parts A and B are supplied in a 200 ml dual cartridge for metered dispensing, with the grey and black components mixing to a uniform paste. Henkel’s data describes it as a room-temperature-curing system: normal performance is reached after three to five days at 25 °C, with an accelerated schedule up to 93 °C available for small masses. Once cured, the manufacturer rates the adhesive for retained strength at temperatures to 177 °C. It is thixotropic, meaning it holds its shape on a vertical or overhead surface rather than slumping, which together with its compressive strength at elevated temperature is why it is specified for potting, filling and liquid-shim work as well as bonding. The product is qualified to MMM-A-132 Rev B, Type I, Class 3, Form 3, Group 1.

Its thixotropic body suits liquid-shim applications, where the paste is used to take up a gap between mating structure and then cures in place. The 200 ml dual cartridge is the format for hand-dispensed repair quantities through a static mixer rather than for production-scale bonding.
