About the 65001 Air Capital Microstop Countersink Kit
The 65001 microstop countersink kit combines an adjustable microstop cage with a set of five piloted countersink cutters for producing flush-fastener countersinks in sheet metal. The microstop cage sets and holds the cutting depth so that each countersink is cut to the same depth regardless of how hard the operator presses, and its nylon-tipped foot bears on the workpiece to reduce marking of the sheet surface. The cage is rated for 3,000 rpm, has a 5/8 in cutter capacity and is driven through a 1/4 in shaft, and it accepts standard 1/4-28 threaded countersinks, so replacement or additional cutters are not restricted to the kit contents. The countersinks supplied are 100 degree cutters with 3/32, 1/8, 5/32, 3/16 and 1/4 in pilots, covering the common rivet and fastener sizes used in sheet-metal assembly.

Typical applications
