About the MD24A200-0300COO2NNSD Electrak MD Actuator
The MD24A200-0300COO2NNSD linear actuator is the 300 mm stroke build of the Thomson Electrak MD acme-screw actuator, supplied for 24 V DC operation and rated for a 2,000 N dynamic load at 5.4 to 7 mm/s depending on loading. The longer stroke raises the retracted length to 433.2 mm and the mass to 1.6 kg, so the extra travel is bought with 150 mm of additional installed length compared with the 150 mm stroke build. Control is internal CANopen with open-loop speed control, and the unit is terminated in a one-metre cable with flying leads for direct wiring into the harness. Sealing is IP66 dynamic and IP67/IP69K static, the actuator is CE compliant, and country of origin is Sweden. The dynamic load rating is unchanged from the shorter build at 2,000 N, so the longer stroke buys travel rather than capacity, and the mass rises by only 0.3 kg over the 150 mm version.

Typical applications
A 300 mm stroke at 2,000 N is used where a light load has to be moved a long way: lifting lids, canopies and access covers, extending trays and slides, and adjusting panels or reflectors through their full range. The 1.6 kg mass keeps the actuator light enough to mount on moving structures without a significant inertia penalty. The one-metre flying-lead cable should be checked against the run length when the actuator travels with the mechanism.
