About the H3-C3-2.0t Zemic S-Type Load Cell, 2.0t
The H3-C3-2.0t S-type load cell is the 2 tonne capacity variant of the Zemic H3 family, doubling the rated capacity of the 1 tonne cell while keeping the same S-beam body form, nickel-plated alloy steel construction and IP67 sealing. It measures in both tension and compression, is accuracy class C3 to OIML R60 and is NTEP approved. Because capacity is selected against the maximum load the cell will see rather than the working load alone, the 2 tonne rating is the usual choice where a suspended vessel or lifting arrangement can be shock-loaded above its nominal weight, or where several cells share a load that would sit uncomfortably close to the top of the 1 tonne range. The H3 family covers 25 kg to 30 tonnes in total.

Typical applications
At 2 tonnes the cell is used on larger crane and hanging scales, on hopper, silo and mixer frames suspended from three or four cells, and for tension measurement on heavier winch, cable and rigging arrangements. It also serves as the load sensor on medium-capacity pull testers and proof-load rigs. The nickel-plated steel body and IP67 rating suit plant rooms, process areas and outdoor structures where the cell is washed down or weather-exposed.
