Description
Mastervolt Charger ChargeMaster Plus 24/30-3 — BOLTON SKU 65409.
About the ChargeMaster Plus 24/30-3 Charger, 24V
The ChargeMaster Plus 24/30-3 battery charger is a 24 V, 30 A unit with three separate outputs, carried under Mastervolt part number 44320305. It accepts 120 V and 230 V mains input and is rated for worldwide mains voltages and frequencies, so the same unit can be commissioned across regions without a variant change. Charging follows Mastervolt’s 3-step+ method and the charger is specified as suitable for any battery chemistry. Current is distributed automatically between the three outputs according to the condition of each battery, and each output is able to supply the full charging current when required, rather than being limited to a fixed share. A pre-float stage is included to avoid overcharging batteries that are already near full. The charger can communicate directly with Mastervolt lithium-ion batteries, a MasterShunt or a system display, so charge parameters can be adjusted from live battery data. Mastervolt lists CE, ABYC, UL, cULus, SAE, CEC/DOE, ISO and ACMA approvals for the range.

Typical applications
Three-output 24 V chargers are specified where a single shore or generator supply has to maintain separate banks — an engine start battery, a service or house bank, and a bow-thruster or auxiliary bank — without cross-connecting them. The automatic distribution behaviour matters in that arrangement because a depleted service bank can draw the majority of the 30 A while a healthy start battery is held on float. The 120/230 V worldwide input suits vessels and mobile platforms that connect to different shore standards, and the communication capability suits installations already built on Mastervolt system components.
