Overview
CB6014CR3M1P is the MJ3 x 0.5 metric size of the Click Bond CB6014 miniature fold-over nutplate. Instead of being riveted, the nutplate is bonded to the structure with a structural adhesive, so no attachment rivet holes are drilled; the fold-over baseplate gives a reduced footprint for tight spaces and low-frequency-access locations where a non-replaceable nut element is acceptable. Each nutplate ships with a disposable elastic installation fixture that centres it on the fastener hole, protects the threads from adhesive and clamps it while the adhesive cures. In the Click Bond part-number scheme CR denotes the stainless (CRES) baseplate, 3M the MJ3 x 0.5 thread, 1 the thread-relief code and P the primed bonding surface.
