About the CB359-50 Click Bond Structural Adhesive, 50 ml
Click Bond CB359 is a two-part structural paste epoxy adhesive supplied here as a 50 mL dual-pack cartridge with a 2:1 mix ratio. It is formulated for high peel, tensile and lap-shear strength and bonds a variety of substrates including metals, thermoplastics and composites; its peel performance makes it well suited to thin or flexible substrates. Click Bond recommends CB359 for installation of its adhesive-bonded fasteners — the studs, standoffs and cable-tie mounts used in place of drilled fasteners on aircraft structure. Per the manufacturer’s data, working time is about 60 minutes at 24 °C, handling strength is reached in 24 hours, and full cure takes 5-7 days at room temperature or one hour at 82 °C accelerated cure. The cured adhesive resists water, salt spray and most organic fluids. Shelf life is a minimum of 6 months at room temperature, extendable to one year under refrigeration at 2-10 °C.
