The Molex 501330-1200 Receptacle connector is a twelve-circuit crimp housing on a 1.00 mm contact pitch. Pitch is the centre-to-centre distance between adjacent contacts, and at 1.00 mm this housing sits in the fine-pitch group used where board area is limited and the cable carries signal rather than heavy current. Twelve positions are arranged along the housing, which is moulded with a cavity for each crimp terminal; terminals are crimped onto the wire first and then pushed into the cavities until they latch, so a circuit can be replaced individually. The housing is supplied on its own — the mating header, the crimp terminals and any application tooling carry their own part numbers and should be quoted alongside it.
