About the Klauke 102R6 Uninsulated Tube Cable Lug
The Klauke 102R6 Uninsulated technical component is a tube cable lug — a ring terminal with a closed tubular barrel — sized for a 10 mm2 conductor and an M6 stud. The barrel is a length of seamless tube into which the stripped conductor is inserted before the lug is compressed with a crimping tool, forming a joint along the crimped length; the flattened tongue at the other end carries the bolt hole that goes over the stud or busbar screw. Uninsulated means the lug is supplied bare, so any covering over the finished joint is added separately as heat-shrink sleeving or a boot, and the crimp itself can be inspected before it is covered. Both the 10 mm2 conductor size and the M6 hole have to be matched to the installation: a lug crimped onto the wrong cross-section will not develop the intended joint. Typical applications
