Description
BETAFPV Aquila 16 1S 1100mAh 3.8V LiHV Battery, BT2.0 Connector — BOLTON SKU 58179.
About the BETAFPV Aquila 16 1S 1100mAh 3.8V
The BETAFPV Aquila 16 battery is a single-cell (1S) lithium-polymer pack of the high-voltage LiHV type, rated at 1100 mAh with a nominal voltage of 3.8 V. LiHV chemistry differs from standard LiPo in its voltage window: nominal is quoted as 3.8 V rather than 3.7 V, and the cell is designed to be taken to a higher fully-charged voltage, which returns slightly more usable energy from the same physical cell size. At 3.8 V and 1.1 Ah the pack holds approximately 4.2 Wh. It is terminated in a BT2.0 connector, the interface BETAFPV introduced for 1S packs to cut the resistance and voltage sag associated with the smaller connectors used previously. Charging requires a charger set explicitly to LiHV — charging a LiHV cell on a standard LiPo profile leaves capacity unused, while putting a standard LiPo cell through a LiHV profile overcharges it.

Typical applications
1S packs of around 1100 mAh serve the light end of the micro and indoor unmanned-aircraft class, where all-up mass is the binding constraint and a single cell keeps the airframe inside indoor and training weight limits. The BT2.0 termination ties the pack to airframes and chargers already standardised on that connector, so it is normally bought to match an existing fleet rather than chosen in isolation. Packs of this size are typically ordered in sets so a flying session can continue while discharged packs cool and recharge.
