This 50 ml pack contains Henkel LOCTITE 270, a high-strength anaerobic threadlocking adhesive intended for the permanent locking and sealing of threaded fasteners. The product is a green, low-viscosity liquid based on dimethacrylate-ester chemistry; it cures when confined in the absence of air between close-fitting metal threads, and is fluorescent under UV light to support inspection. As a high-strength grade it is designed for assemblies that must not loosen in service — the manufacturer cites heavy-duty applications such as studs into motor housings and nuts onto studs in pump housings — and disassembly typically requires localised heat and hand tools rather than routine unscrewing.
