About the XT60H-M XT60 Male Power Plug, Bullet Type
The XT60H-M is the male half of the AMASS XT60H power connector, an upgraded XT60 with a moulded hood (cap) that insulates and protects the solder joints at the rear of the contacts. The XT60 interface is a two-position, polarised DC power connector using gold-plated brass bullet contacts in a nylon (PA) housing; the keyed yellow shell prevents reverse connection of battery and load. Published specifications for the XT60H list a rated current of 30 A with 60 A instantaneous capability, gold-plated brass contact material, a UL94 V-0 flammability-rated housing and acceptance of cables up to 12 AWG. XT60 is a de facto standard battery connector across UAV, RC and light electric-power applications, which keeps mating parts widely available. Solder-bucket termination allows field repair with basic workshop equipment.
