About the EA9462 Loctite Hysol Epoxy Adhesive, 50ml
LOCTITE EA 9462, historically marketed as Hysol 9462, is a toughened two-component epoxy structural adhesive from Henkel. It is formulated to give a balanced combination of shear and peel strength in an easy-to-use smooth paste, with a 1:1 mix ratio and a non-sag consistency that suits application to vertical and overhead surfaces. The mixed adhesive is beige in colour and cures at room temperature, with cure acceleration possible by applying heat; Henkel quotes a pot life of around 55 minutes for a 100 g mass at 25 °C. Recommended substrates include metals, plastics and wood. This listing is for the 50 ml dual cartridge, dispensed through a static mixing nozzle with a compatible applicator. Typical applications
