About the SSHL-002T-P0.2 Crimp Contact, 26-30 AWG
The SSHL-002T-P0.2 is the receptacle crimp contact for the JST GH series of 1.25 mm pitch wire-to-board connectors. JST’s GH documentation lists the contact as copper alloy with a tin-plated finish, supplied in strip form at 35,000 pieces per reel, and gives its applicable wire range as AWG #30 to AWG #26 (0.05 to 0.13 mm²) with an insulation outside diameter of 0.76 mm to 1.0 mm — the 26–30 AWG span quoted in the product title. Contacts are crimped using JST’s AP-K2N crimping machine with the MKS-L-10-3 applicator, then inserted into GH housings such as the GHR series to build a discrete-wire assembly. Series ratings are 1.0 A AC/DC at AWG #26 and 50 V AC/DC, with initial contact resistance of 30 mΩ maximum. JST notes that the similarly numbered SSHL-003 contact cannot be used with GH connectors, so the full part number matters when ordering.

Typical applications
As the crimp element of the GH system this contact is consumed by the loom rather than fitted as a single component: harness shops buy it by the reel to terminate 0.05–0.13 mm² wire into GH housings. That gauge band covers signal, sensor and low-current supply lines in UAV avionics bays, camera and gimbal looms and compact instruments. Tooling matters as much as the contact itself — the small barrel and tin-plated finish need the matched applicator to give a repeatable, inspectable crimp.
