About the H50X25BK Expandable Cable Sleeve, 5mm Black
The H50X25BK is a pre-cut rubber sleeve from HellermannTyton’s Helsyn H range, extruded from a chloroprene (neoprene) compound in black. Each sleeve is 25 mm long with a nominal 5 mm diameter and approximately 1 mm wall, and because the material is highly elastic it expands over larger bundles — distributor data quotes coverage of cable diameters up to about 10 mm from this one size. The sleeves are slid over a cable or wire bundle to bind, protect or identify it without adhesive or heat. Chloroprene gives the family good resistance to mineral and vegetable oils, fuels, acids, moisture, ozone and UV exposure, and the listed operating temperature range is −65 °C to +95 °C. Supplied as loose pre-cut pieces, the sleeves fit quickly during harness assembly and rework.
