About the PUDP-10V-S Receptacle Housing, 10-Pos 2mm
PUDP-10V-S is a receptacle (socket) housing from the JST PUD connector series, a 2.0 mm pitch wire-to-board crimp system arranged in a high-density double row. This housing provides 10 contact positions (2 rows of 5) and accepts JST PUD-series crimp socket contacts, which are ordered separately and crimped to wires in the 28–22 AWG range per distributor data. The housing is moulded in PBT (polybutylene terephthalate) and includes keying features so the connector mates only in the correct orientation with its matching PUD shrouded header, engaging with an audible click; the series is characterised by low insertion force. Distributor listings give housing dimensions of approximately 12 mm × 8.3 mm. As a discrete-wire crimp system, PUD is used to make removable board-to-harness connections inside equipment enclosures.
