About the 16_MMCX-50-2-4/111_OE MMCX Plug, 50 Ohm
The 16_MMCX-50-2-4/111_OE is a HUBER+SUHNER MMCX cable plug in the right-angle configuration, presenting a 50 ohm interface and rated to a maximum frequency of 6 GHz. MMCX is a snap-on micro-miniature coaxial series developed for dense board-level RF work; the snap coupling allows blind and repeated mating in confined spaces without the assembly torque a threaded interface requires. This part is terminated to cable by soldering and is specified for RG174, RG188A, RG316 and HUBER+SUHNER Enviroflex 316 cable types. Materials are a gold-plated brass body with a brass outer contact, a beryllium-copper alloy centre contact and PTFE/PFA insulation, a combination chosen for contact resilience and stable dielectric performance over repeated mating cycles. The right-angle body turns the cable through 90 degrees immediately at the connector, which keeps stack height down and avoids forcing a tight bend radius into thin coax close to the termination.

Typical applications
MMCX plugs are used to terminate thin coaxial jumpers between radio modules, GNSS and telemetry receivers, antenna feeds and RF test points inside compact enclosures. They are common in UAV payload and avionics integration, portable communications equipment and instrumentation harnesses. The right-angle form is selected where the cable must exit parallel to the board or enclosure wall.
