Description
9V ENERGIZER 522 BATTERY — BOLTON SKU 50558.
About the Energizer 522 9V Battery
The Energizer 522 is a 9-volt alkaline battery using zinc–manganese dioxide (Zn/MnO2) chemistry, carrying the industry designations ANSI 1604A and IEC 6LF22/6LR61. It delivers a nominal 9.0 V through the familiar miniature-snap terminal pair and is built to industry-standard 9 V dimensions (approximately 48.5 mm maximum height per the manufacturer’s drawing). The manufacturer’s datasheet states an operating temperature range of −18 °C to 55 °C, a typical weight of 45 grams, a shelf life of five years at 21 °C, and confirms the cell contains no added mercury or cadmium. Published discharge data covers typical radio, toy and smoke-detector duty profiles, with capacity dependent on drain rate as shown in the Energizer engineering curves. It is a direct fit for equipment specifying a standard 9 V PP3-format alkaline battery.
