Description
HG909Y-RSP HyperLink Wireless 900Mhz 9dBi Yagi Ante — BOLTON SKU 64311.
About the HG909Y-RSP 900 MHz Yagi Antenna, 9 dBi
The HG909Y-RSP belongs to L-com’s HyperGain HG909Y family of directional Yagi antennas for the 900 MHz ISM and GSM bands. It provides 9 dBi of gain with a comparatively wide beamwidth, so it concentrates energy along the boom axis while remaining tolerant of small alignment errors. Impedance is 50 ohm and the maximum input VSWR is quoted as 1.5:1. Construction is a heavy-duty half-inch stainless steel boom carrying solid one-eighth-inch elements, mounted via a one-eighth-inch plated steel mounting plate and two plated steel U-bolts; the antenna can be installed for either vertical or horizontal polarisation by rotating it on the mast. L-com notes that the front-to-back ratio helps reject interference arriving from behind the antenna. Termination on this variant is an 18 inch coaxial pigtail, and the RSP suffix denotes the RP-SMA plug interface.

Typical applications
900 MHz Yagi antennas are used for directional point-to-point and point-to-multipoint links, SCADA telemetry, LPWAN and LoRa gateways, IoT and M2M backhaul, and non-line-of-sight fills where a directional element improves link margin. In defence and aerospace support work they appear on ground-station masts, range telemetry and remote monitoring installations. The stainless boom construction suits outdoor, fixed-mast deployments.
