About the T0051301799N Weller SD1000 Solder Dispenser
The SD1000 is a bench-standing dispenser for solder wire reels. A heavy base plate keeps the unit stationary while wire is pulled off, so the operator can feed wire single-handed without the dispenser walking across the bench. The roller mounts adjust to take the common reel formats — 70 mm wide reels with a bore over 12 mm, 84 mm reels with a bore under 12 mm and 95 mm reels with a bore over 15 mm — up to a reel weight of 1000 g. The wire guide accepts a range of wire diameters and holds the free end of the wire in a fixed, repeatable position near the work. The dispenser is ESD safe, which is what makes it usable on an EPA bench. An optional ABW 2 attachment bracket can be fitted so a second reel is carried on the same unit. Solder wire itself is not included.

Typical applications
A dispenser of this kind is fitted to hand-soldering, rework and repair positions where the operator works from a full 500 g or 1000 g reel rather than a small hand spool, and where the wire has to present at the same place every time to keep the process consistent. The ESD-safe construction allows it to sit inside a static-controlled area alongside the iron and mat. Where two alloys or two wire diameters are run at one position, the second-reel bracket keeps both on a single footprint.
