The FCB-EX980SP block camera is a member of Sony’s FCB series of integrated camera modules, the block format in which the lens, image sensor, zoom and focus drives and the camera signal processing are supplied as a single sealed assembly for an integrator to build into their own housing. This variant pairs a 26 times optical zoom lens with colour imaging and a PAL video output, PAL being the analogue standard used across Europe, much of Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
