This is a KEMET commercial-grade surface-mount multilayer ceramic chip capacitor. Typical applications
A 22 µF X7R part at 25 VDC is a bulk and decoupling capacitor: input and output reservoirs around DC-DC converters and point-of-load regulators, rail smoothing on 12 V and lower distribution, and local energy storage next to processors and drivers where a tantalum or electrolytic part is to be avoided. The 1210 case is the size normally reached for when this capacitance is needed at a 25 V rating. Reflow-only mounting and the Class II voltage coefficient should both be allowed for at design stage.
